What This Site Collects
Analytics. The Operator Stack uses Google Analytics to understand which articles people read and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated — it doesn't identify you personally to us. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is collected and stored by Beehiiv, our newsletter platform, and is used only to send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We never sell or share subscriber emails.
Hosting. This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What This Site Doesn't Do
No accounts, no comments, no user profiles, no selling of data, no third-party ad trackers. The site does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
